You’ve got the moral victory you so desperately sought, you’ve been confirmed by a bunch of old white guys and you should feel vindicated, right? Now do the right thing for the country you profess to love, and don’t take the job. You should have never accepted a nomination from this tainted president if it was ever your intention to become a supreme court justice in the first place. Everything this agent of Russia touches turns to shit, and you allowed him to touch you.
You’ve got an opportunity here but you need to act quickly. Choose the wrong way, take the job and suffer the lifelong consequences of your decision OR make the right move here, make a speech abdicating this new role because of the horrific damage it inflicted on our country, and you may just become a hero to millions of men and women worldwide for being so bold and insightful, who knows… you may even get to keep your day job.
Your pathetic display of partisanship, whining, sniveling and emotional instability aside, perhaps you can still save something far more important in life than this or any other job. You’ve got a family and a wife that apparently believed the lines of shit you shoveled her way, and now she knows better. If I were you, that would be my focus, this whole other mess was ill-conceived from the start and you should have known better.
